This is Bronte. Isn't she super-precious? I didn't put her picture here because of that, though. I put it here to show you how great natural light can be. This is a call to turn off the automatic flash setting on your camera!
You may think you don't have anywhere ideal to take pictures in your house, but (especially for kids) all you need is a window. Open the blinds, pull back the curtains, let in the sun and start shooting! If you truly have no windows, open a door. The weather's awesome right now, and you're not going to let a fly or two stop you from capturing magical pictures of your children!
