- Portrait Photographer. Austin Citizen. Mama. Wife. Sister. Friend. Woman. Writer. Reader. I'm no good at describing myself. This is where I am supposed to say who I am, right? As in I am a mother, a wife, a sister and daughter; I am a portrait photographer and a former high school teacher. That doesn't really say who I am, though, does it? Another standard approach reads like a dating service: I like reading and writing, being with my family and taking long walks on the beach. Or there is the Playboy route: Turn Ons -laughter and silliness. Turn Offs - pessimism and grumpy people. You know? The writing I do on this blog will do a better job of revealing the inner workings of my mind and soul, which, I suppose, is where the real me has set up camp.
