Tip #2 - Get Eye Level With Your Subject

How many pictures have you seen where the photographer appears to be looking down at the subject? This happens a lot, especially with babies, children and pets.

So if your subject is on the floor, get on the floor! Raise or lower your body to be on the same plane as your subject, (or bring your subject to your eye level) and you will have more interactive, interesting images. (see kitty photo from tip #1)

Having said that, don't discount those creative shots, where you might intentionally shoot from a strange angle. For example, you might deliberately take a picture of someone looking up into the lens.
